Diego is an associate in our Pasadena office. He advises cities, special districts, and other local governments on issues relating to land use and housing development, open meetings and public records, labor and employment, and legal compliance.
Diego earned his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, in 2025. He graduated cum laude from Occidental College in 2021 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Linguistics. He is also fluent in Spanish.
During law school, Diego served as the Notes Editor for the UC Law Environmental Journal. He participated in the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic and the Individual Representation Clinic. In the latter, Diego helped a client obtain a favorable settlement of his claim before the California Labor Commissioner. Diego also gained experience while interning for a water district, an immigration nonprofit, and a plaintiff-side class-action firm.
Outside the office, Diego enjoys rock climbing, watching movies, and exploring new cities.
