MUNICIPAL ADVISORY LAWYER

Job Description

We are looking for attorneys with 0-5 years of experience for our statewide municipal advisory practice. Location is negotiable. Our main offices are in Grass Valley and Pasadena, but we also have locations in Sonoma, Sacramento, San Diego and Orange County. While we are open to remote or hybrid employment, some regular “face time” with our attorneys and staff is important and the position involves attending planning commission and city council meetings in person. Excellent academic credentials along with strong analytical & writing skills are required. Experience in public law, trial court writs, or appellate work is helpful. Salary varies with seniority and location and ranges from $125,000 to $185,000 for 1,800 billable hours and proportionate pay for those with lower hours commitments.

LITIGATION ASSOCIATE

Job Description

Litigation Associate with 3+ years’ experience to join our statewide municipal litigation practice. We represent cities, counties, and special districts across California. Our largest offices are in Grass Valley and Pasadena, but we also have locations in Irvine, Sacramento, San Diego and Sonoma. Location is negotiable, and we are open to hybrid and remote work. Full- or part-time. Excellent academic credentials along with strong analytical & writing skills required. We value collegiality and diversity and work to make our practice both professionally and personally rewarding. Experience and a strong interest in public or municipal law, trial court writs, or appellate advocacy is helpful but not required; litigation experience is. Salary varies with seniority and location and ranges from $145,000 to $220,000 for 1,800 billable hours.
