Laura Zagaroli is Of Counsel to Colantuono, Highsmith & Whatley’s advisory practice group providing a full range of advisory services to our municipal clients around California. Laura comes to the firm with more than nine years’ experience in municipal law, with particular emphasis in land use, public works, business regulation, taxation, and real property matters. She also has experience in representing medical facilities, in which issues involved HIPAA, malpractice liability, and medical ethics.
Laura earned her law degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, in 2006, where she was a Dean’s Scholar and winner of the 2005 JW Moot Court Competition. She also studied law at University College in Oxford, England, where she was awarded Honors. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley, California, graduating with Highest Honors and was the valedictorian of her class. Before entering law school, Laura taught at the secondary level for several years in Lafayette, California.
